VANCOUVER ISLAND SEALS

Vancouver Island Seals Female Midget AAA Hockey Team founded in 2017, is a BC Hockey high performance hockey team comprised of players ages 14 to 17 from Vancouver Island that competes within the five-team BC Hockey Midget AAA League.

The Female Midget AAA League (FMAAA) provides an opportunity for elite female hockey players to come together on zone-based teams.

There are currently five (5) FMAAA teams throughout the province. These teams have the opportunity to compete for the ESSO Cup, Canada's National Female Midget Championship.
The Vancouver Island Seals hockey program provides high performance development, based on the BC Hockey Development model for elite female hockey players, while respecting a school and home-life balance. The Seals main goal is to help elite athletes develop to their fullest potential in both hockey and life skills to prepare them for NCAA & CIS eligibility.
The team’s shield recognizes VI Seal’s values: dedication, strength, determination and endurance. It emphasizes that individual and team success comes through effort, commitment and focus.
